FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a coating composition, in particular, to two-component coating composition suitable for application on a metal substrate. Invention also relates to a coating composition for recovery of a surface coating on a cut line on a metal substrate with a coating and to a method of recovery of a surface coating on a cut line, which includes use of the coating composition. Two-component coating composition suitable for application on a metal substrate, especially on cans for food products or beverages, contains the first component containing an acrylic latex material, and the second component containing a silane material with functional groups.EFFECT: coating composition is prepared according to the invention, provides a coating, which can be applied by an airless sprayer, and ensures sufficient protection against corrosion of the open metal of the cut line, onto which there was applied a coating for recovery, and provides a coating with a lower content of volatile organic compounds.27 cl, 5 tbl |
