Hinged tripod comprises two arms connected together by a hinge pin, a hydraulic line running through at least one length of the arms and the hinge pin, and an operating device (9) consisting of a piston (18) which acts on the hydraulic line. By applying pressure to the hydraulic line using the piston the arms are held in a tensioned position in the region of the hinge pin. The operating device has a tensioning unit (20) which mechanically acts on the piston and a mechanical pressure-relieving unit (21) which acts against the force of the tensioning unit. During operation the force acting on the piston turns the two arms against each other. Preferred Features: The tensioning unit is formed as a spring element acting on the piston. The pressure-relieving unit is formed as a cable acting against the force of the tensioning unit. |
