DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING IGNITION OF DOUBLE-FACED GRILL, CAPABLE OF IGNITING THE LOWER GRILL BURNER AFTER IGNITING THE UPPER GRILL BURNER AND OF IGNITING THE UPPER GRILL BURNER REGARDLESS OF WASTE GAS

PURPOSE: A control device of ignition of a double-faced grill and a method thereof are provided to ignite upper and lower grill burners safely and efficiently by igniting the lower grill burner after igniting the upper grill burner, and to prevent explosion from leak of waste gas by igniting the upper grill burner regardless of waste gas. CONSTITUTION: A control unit of a microcomputer detects selection of a double-faced grill in turning on a cooking starting switch by a user. An igniter is operated in selecting cooking by the double-faced grill, and ignition of the upper grill burner is checked after opening an upper solenoid valve. The lower grill solenoid valve is opened after the predetermined time in igniting the upper grill, and ignition of the lower grill burner is checked. The igniter is stopped in igniting the lower grill burner, and combustion is performed safely. Ignition error is detected in ignition failure of the upper grill burner or the lower grill burner, and ignition is controlled by taking necessary measures.
