PURPOSE: Provided is a density-adjustable fibrous filtering device where the density of fiber bundles gets increased to efficiently filter raw water when filtering the raw water and the density of the fiber bundles gets decreased to completely remove contaminants between the fiber bundles when backwashing the fiber bundles. CONSTITUTION: In a filtering device where contaminated raw water is flown in through the upper end hole (101), filtered through many fiber bundles (11) and then discharged through the lower end hole (102), each upper side and lower side of many fiber bundles are respectively tied and fixed on the upper perforated plate (12) and the lower perforated plate (13), the lower end of the fiber bundles are fixed on the lower perforated plate by a fixing member (113) and the upper end of the fiber bundles are tied by the upper connection string (111), which is inserted into a hole (121) of the upper perforated plate, and the upper connection string is fixed on the upper perforated plate by a fixing member (112).
