METHOD FOR DRIVING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for driving an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and an LCD using the driving method are provided to improve display characteristic of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: Photo currents generated in response to light provided by a user are converted into digital signals. The first position information items supposed to be points proving the light are measured in response to the digital signals. The first position information items are compared and the second position information corresponding to a specific point at which at least two first position information items identical to each other is calculated. A driving signal is output in response to the second position information. An image is displayed in response to the driving signal.
