PURPOSE: A continuously reproducing method of an optical disk driver is provided to set an optimal reproduction speed capable of performing a continuous reproduction when a disk is recognized. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk driver judges a kind of a disk medium(S110). The driver sets an initial reproduction speed of the disk medium(S120). The driver checks inner circumference, middle, and outer circumference areas of the judged disk medium(S130). The driver decides whether servo error and a data error exceed a reference value(S140). If not, the driver maintains the initial reproduction speed, and reproduces or buffers the disk medium(S160,S170). If the errors exceed the reference value, the driver sets a speed value lower than the initial reproduction speed(S150).
