PURPOSE: An elevator car is provided to eliminate the necessity of increasing the depth of a pit and prevent a corrosion of the pit by directly installing a buffering device at the bottom surface of a cage, avoiding a lower frame. CONSTITUTION: An elevator car comprises a cage(10); a pair of vertical frames arranged in a vertical direction at both sides of the cage; an upper frame and a lower frame(11) for connecting the tops and bottoms of the vertical frames; and a plurality of buffering members(20) for reducing fall impact, and which are arranged at the bottom surface of the cage, avoiding the lower frame. The buffering members are arranged to have variable positions with respect to the cage, through a bracket(30). The bracket has a female bracket(310) fixed at the bottom surface of the cage; and a male bracket(320) fixed to the buffering members.
