PURPOSE: A video data processing system and a video data reading/writing method are provided to enable each segment to correspond to plural rows of an SDRAM, in order to prevent two rows from being accessed during a burst reading/writing operation of the SDRAM, thereby improving a burst reading/writing speed of video data. CONSTITUTION: An SDRAM(160) includes a memory cell array consisting of plural rows and plural columns, and performs a burst reading/writing operation. A memory controller(150) controls video data such that the video data can be read/written from/on the SDRAM(160). The memory controller(150) divides the video data into plural segments, and wherein the I+1th(I is a positive integer) segment includes last burst data of the Ith segment, and each segment corresponds to the plural rows of the SDRAM(160).
