LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY TO IMPROVE OPERATION CHARACTERISTIC

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve operation characteristic of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(300) includes a display area and a peripheral area. The vertical side of the LCD panel is longer than the horizontal side. A gate driver chip(310) is formed in the peripheral area of the horizontal side of the LCD panel. A data driver chip(320) is formed in the peripheral area of the vertical side of the LCD chip. Gate lines(GL) are extended in parallel with the vertical side and arranged at a predetermined interval. The gate driver chip provides a gate driving signal to the gate lines. Data lines(DL) are extended in parallel with the horizontal side and arranged at a predetermined interval. The data driver chip supplies a data signal to the data lines. A back light assembly is located under the LCD panel to provide three color lights to the LCD panel.
