PURPOSE: A method of compensating for a feeding calibration of a bottom margin paper of an ink jet printer is provided to detect a paper separated from a feeding roller by using a paper detecting sensor and to feed the paper by taking a previously measured feeding error into consideration. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating for a feeding calibration of a bottom margin paper of an ink jet printer includes a step of primarily scanning a test pattern of a right-angled triangle by using an image measurement sensor before a paper passes through a feeding roller(203). Then, the paper is line-fed so that the paper moves beyond the feeding roller(204). A feeding calibration is detected based on a difference between an actual feeding distance of the paper and a predetermined reference feeding distance of the paper after secondarily scanning the test pattern by using the image measurement sensor(205).
