PURPOSE: A method for managing digital contents in a mobile communication terminal is provided to receive video data at a time by binding the video data in a bundle, and to store the bound video data in a nonvolatile memory not to delete the data, then to store released compression video data in a volatile memory. CONSTITUTION: A controller receives compression data including information on plural video data and information on situations when videos are displayed. The controller stores the compression data in a nonvolatile memory. The controller stores each of released compression data and the information on the situations when the videos are displayed in a volatile memory. The compression data is released when a mobile communication terminal is started to operate by being applied with power. The released compression data and the information on the situations are stored in the volatile memory.
