This invention relates to the area of machine-building, in particular, to pivot shoe bearings, and can be used in designs of quick compressors, gas and steam turbines, pumps and other rotor machines. The support bearing unit has body with channels for oil supply and with discharge cavity, shaft surrounded by pivot shoes, each of those has radial opening arranged in the central part or the working surface, and distribution channels arranged in the inlet and the outlet edges; pockets, fixation screws, oil-removal scrapers installed in the inter-shoe space. In the first version of implementation the pockets are arranged at the inner surface of the wheel of the support bearing unit. In the second version of implementation the support bearing unit has additionally intermediate bushing, this is installed between the body of the support bearing unit and the pivot shoes, and the pockets are arranged at intermediate bushing. Stability of the system rotor-bearing is improved and operation expenses are decreased, dynamical characteristics are improved and centering of the bearing relative to the body, with removal of electro-rust removal of material from the shoes to rotary surface due to arrangement of oil-removal scrapers made of electro-conductive material.
