GAS CONTROL DEVICE CAPABLE OF RESTRICTING THE CHILD LOCK FROM BEING RELEASED SIMPLY WITHOUT INSTALLING AN ADDITIONAL OPERATION UNIT FOR THE CHILD LOCK UNIT

PURPOSE: A gas control device is provided to operate the child lock with a flame regulating dial, and to restrict the child lock from being released simply without installing an additional operation unit for the child lock unit. CONSTITUTION: A gas control device comprises an igniting and extinguishing button(5) moving back and forth between the valve opening position for keeping a gas passage to a gas burner open and the valve closing position for closing the gas passage, and a ring shaped flame regulating dial(7) rotated freely in the gas flow regulating range from the valve opening position of the igniting and extinguishing button to the minimum position for supplying the minimum fuel gas to the gas burner and the maximum position for supplying the maximum fuel gas to the gas burner and installed around the igniting and extinguishing button. The flame regulating dial is rotated freely beyond the gas flow regulating range in the valve opening position, and the igniter of the gas burner is locked. Rotation is restricted without moving the flame regulating dial back and forth in rotating the flame regulating dial in the locking position.
