The invention relates to a device for condensing water vapour, having a compressor (3) driven by a turbine (1), a condensation tank (8), an evaporator (12), a pressure-reducing valve (10) in a refrigerant line between the condensation tank and the evaporator, and a passage (13) for transporting water vapour which is to be condensed to the evaporator (12). There are first control means (10, 11, 80) for increasing the pressure in the condensation tank (8) as the flow of refrigerant to the evaporator (12) increases, and second control means (14, 17, 18) for controlling the quantity of water vapour transported to the evaporator (12) as a function of the temperature of the evaporator (12). |
