Sunblind with drop-down valance

The drop-down valance (14) is attached to the fall rod (10) at the free end of the blind and can be pushed through an opening (20) into the fall rod when not in use. The opening extends over the entire width and can be closed by a flap (18) when the valance is inserted. The fall rod is preferably an open tubular body with swivel-fitted flap (18). The flap has on one side a curved end area (22) with ring-shaped cross- section guided for swivel movement in an open groove (24) with ring-shaped cross-section on the tubular body.
