The invention relates to an arrangement (1) for a hoistable and liftable car deck (2) for a ship comprising a load-carrying top plate (3) as the deck and reinforcing beams supporting same. In accrdance with the invention the top plate (3) consists of aluminium, while the load-carrying primary beams (6<2>) consist of steel. The top plate (3) is attached to the aforementioned beams (6<2>) via a number of joints (7) with the ability to absorb shear forces. |
