PURPOSE: A reclining apparatus for a seat of a vehicle is provided to improve the convenience by returning to the last position of a seat back in restoring the seat back after reclining the seat back for getting in or out of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A last position return apparatus(120) is composed of a folding plate(125) combined with a shaft(104) outside an operating lever(105), fixed by an upper bracket(102) and pins(121,122), and connected to the end of a return spring(106) connected to the shaft; an operating rod(126) connected to the folding plate by the pin connected to the upper bracket; and a folding tooth(130) combining with the pin connecting the folding plate and the upper bracket, and having gear teeth(132) engaged with gear teeth(133) formed around an upper tooth bracket(103). The seat back is returned to the last position in restoring after folding the seat back.
