PURPOSE: A card connector is provided to eject a card with relatively large pressure when ejection of the card is initiated and then eject the card by relatively large discharging quantity when a contact portion of the card is separated from a terminal of the connector. CONSTITUTION: A card connector includes an ejecting lever(10) rotatively supported by an axis(11). When one end(12) of the ejecting lever is pressed in a card insertion direction, having a rotation supporting point between both ends of the ejecting lever, the other end(15) of the ejecting lever is rotated to a card ejecting direction to eject a card(1) in the card ejecting direction. The position of the rotation supporting point is not changed. The card connector further includes a distance varying member that increases a distance between the point of the lever, which comes into contact with the card, and the rotation supporting point during the period of time starting from initiation of ejection of the card to completion of ejection of the card.
