INDICATOR FOR DETERMINING QUALITY OF A FOOD PRODUCT IN POLYMERIC PACKAGE

The proposed indicator for determining quality of a food product in polymeric package contains a casing made of transparent material and separated into two sections that are coupled with each other and filled with liquid. In the sections of the casing, partitions with calibrated orifices are installed. The indicator casing is fixed to the surface of the polymeric package by a holder. The liquid that passes through the orifices in the partitions of the sections of the casing changes its color depending on the quality of the product in the package. The proposed indicator provides a possibility to monitor quality of a stored food product visually.
