PURPOSE: Provided are an apparatus for rapid production of chlorine dioxide gas, which is able to produce the chlorine dioxide with safety, conveniency and rapidity according to desired purposes, and a method for preparing thereof by using the same. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a reaction container (1) where water, liquid phase or solid reaction materials are able to be filled, an inflow part (2) formed on the upper part of the reaction container to allow the water, liquid phase or solid reaction materials to flow in, many chlorine dioxide gas outlets (3) and a chlorine dioxide producing layer (4) consisting of at least one layer of liquid phase or solid reaction materials, which reacts with water, liquid phase or solid reaction materials flown in through the inflow part to generate chlorine dioxide, wherein the reaction proceeds at the chlorine dioxide producing layer when the water, liquid phase or solid reaction materials are flown in through the inflow part and generated chlorine dioxide gas is discharged through the outlets.
