PURPOSE: A crystallization method of tRNA(m1G37) methyltransferase(TrmD) from Haemophilus influenzae is provided, thereby obtaining crystals of TrmD having easy X-ray analysis and improved crystallization degree. CONSTITUTION: The crystallization method of tRNA(m1G37) methyltransferase(TrmD) from Haemophilus influenzae comprises subjecting tRNA(m1G37) methyltransferase(TrmD) wherein 8 amino acid residues are added into the C-terminal and 20 amino acid residues are added into the N-terminal to hanging-drop vapor diffusion method using reservoir solution containing sodium acetate as a precipitating agent at 30 deg. C, wherein the reservoir solution is 1.4M sodium acetate.
