PURPOSE: A hydraulic percussion device is provided to prevent the seal by preventing the transfer of high pressure of a high pressure unit and peak pressure by shock waves. CONSTITUTION: The hydraulic percussion device contains: a cylinder(11a); a gas room(16) formed on the upper part of the cylinder(11a) and filled up with compressed gas; a head unit(11b) formed on the lower part of the cylinder(11a) to have through holes; a piston(12) whose upper end is placed in the gas room(16) and the lower end is placed in the through hole of the head unit(11b) to be reciprocated vertically in the cylinder(11a); many hydraulic rooms(17,19) formed to have a piston turnover hydraulic room(17) and a lower high-pressure room(19) by the cylinder(11a) and the piston(12); many passages(17',18',19') connected to the hydraulic rooms(17,19) respectively to the hydraulic rooms(17,19) to make fluids which pressurize to hydraulic planes flow in/out from the hydraulic rooms(17,19) to reciprocate the piston(12) vertically; a main control valve(14) converting the passage(17') connected to the piston turnover hydraulic room(17) into a low pressure unit(15b) and a high pressure unit(15a) mutually; a chisel(13) whose upper end is hit by the lower end of the descent piston(11a) to crush materials(1) and the upper end is placed in the through hole of the head unit(11b); a primary return port(24) connected to the low pressure unit(15b) through a primary return passage(24') and formed to the inside of the cylinder(11a) which is in contact with the outside of the piston(12); many primary seals(25,27) installed on the lower part of the primary return port(24); and a primary check valve(30) installed on the primary return passage(24') and opened if the pressure of the fluid flew from the high pressure room(19) in the primary return port(24) is higher than the pressure in the low pressure unit(15b).
