PURPOSE: A fan motor is provided to reduce defects of motor by minimizing damages of components caused due to high injection temperature and high injection pressure. CONSTITUTION: A fan motor comprises a rotor having a permanent magnet for formation of magnetic field; a rotating shaft coupled to the rotor in such a manner that the rotating shafts rotates integrally with the rotor; a stator(1) having a coil for forming electric fields for generating torque through the cooperation with the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet of the rotor; a circuit board(8) mounted with components for applying and controlling power to the coil; and a molding housing formed by performing a linear molding on the circuit board through the use of a bulk molding compound, and injection molding the assembly of the circuit board and the stator.
