DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING OPTICAL PICKUP WITH IMPROVED SLIDER IN OPTICAL DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A device for transferring an optical pickup in an optical disk drive is provided to dually control a contact force between an optical pickup and a lead screw to effectively control an operation of the optical pickup, thereby reducing a load of a contacted portion. CONSTITUTION: A slider(260) comprises as follows. A mobile portion(263) is elastically connected to a base portion(261), and is formed with at least one projection portion(264) inserted into screw grooves of a lead screw on one side. The first elastic portion(268) is installed on the base portion(261) and the mobile portion(263), and pushes the mobile portion(263) toward the lead screw such that the projection portions(264) can be inserted into the screw grooves. The second elastic portion(269) pushes the mobile portion(263) toward the screw grooves when the projection portions(264) are separated from the screw grooves, to prevent the projection portions(264) from being separated.
