PURPOSE: A water level sensing device for a washing machine is provided to have no effect on magnetic flux density of a coil from an elastic member in moving a core and accordingly to stabilize an inductance value of a coil by making the elastic member supporting the core from a non-magnetic material. CONSTITUTION: A water level sensing device for a washing machine is composed of a lower case(1) having a fluid inlet port(1a) for transmitting pressure by fluid as the water and air; an upper case(2) separably combined at the upside of the lower case; a bobbin(6) installed in the upper case and wound around with coils(7) on the outer peripheral surface; a diaphragm(3) mounted on the upper case to move up and down according to the pressure increase and decrease of the fluid; a core(5) for moving up and down in the bobbin as the diaphragm moves upward and downward; and an elastic member disposed in the bobbin to support elastically the core in the direction opposite to the pressure of the fluid. The output frequency characteristic of the water level sensing device is stabilized by making the elastic member from a non-magnetic material. |
