The device has a flexible printed circuit (14) connecting an output (17) of a torque sensor (12) with a controller (10) integrated with a steering system. A flexible cover (18) surrounds the printed circuit, where ends of the cover are covered by sealed lids (19). The lids are fixed on a body of the controller and the torque sensor. The printed circuit has a flexible substrate on which conductors are placed.
