METHOD FOR INCREASING 5'-NUCLEOTIDE CONTENT IN MOTHER'S MILK OF MOTHER SOW, ADDITIVE TO FEED FOR MOTHER SOW AND FEED FOR MOTHER SOW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and effective means for preventing scours and infirmity of a piglet whose maturity is low and resistance is weak, especially the piglet at a newborn period to a nursing period, at a low cost.

SOLUTION: A method for increasing a 5'-nucleotide content in mother's milk of a postpartum mother sow comprises administering a yeast extract containing ribonucleic acids or the 5'-ribonucleotides (preferably, 5'-guanylic acid, 5'-adenylic acid, 5'-cytidylic acid, 5'-uridylic acid and their salts) to the sow during a period stating from a day prior to the expected date of delivery by 1 or 2 weeks and ending at the day of the delivery.
