<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a game image space wherein a player feels new pleasure which is never felt before by making the player recognize a character appearing in a game with attachment by considering the character in comparison with an actual person. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds of partial images of the eyes, the mouth, etc. constituting the face of the deformed character are prepared in advance. An image generating means 11 selects and mixes the prepared partial images to the face image of the deformed character to generate a character image obtained by varying the facial expression of the character.
