PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change spring characteristics depending on the purpose of usage and the nature of screw joint by giving many possible design shapes to a spring element. SOLUTION: This screw element comprises tool engagement means 5, 6 and the spring element 8. The spring element is formed on the screw element in one piece to establish a coaxial relationship with a screw shaft 7, its free edge forms a workpiece contact face, and the workpiece contact face is perpendicular to the screw shaft and apart from the screw element in the axial direction. The spring element 8 is arranged around a head 4 or the screw element as a nut, protruded to the radial direction beyond the outer peripheral face and arranged outside the outer peripheral face to form a workpiece contact means 9 coaxial with the screw shaft 7.
