TORQUE LIMITER AND REEL MOUNT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter to be used for a recording/reproducing device in a video tape recorder or an audio tape recorder to generate stable clutch torque, and a reel mount for functioning as the torque limiter. SOLUTION: The torque limiter and the reel mount each comprise a fist rotor to be rotated around a rotating shaft and a second rotor to be rotated around a rotating shaft. The first rotor has one of a magnet and a hysteresis plate and the second rotor has the other. The magnet and the hysteresis plate are opposed to each other and the first rotor and the second rotor abut with each other. No wall portion exists between an abutment position where the first rotor and the second rotor abut with each other and the rotating shaft. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
