PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method for an inclined face capable of surely greening matching with an ambient environment at a low cost without giving a bad influence on the ambient environment of the surface aiming at greening and greening with high naturalness. SOLUTION: After a vegetation net 2 equipped with a sheath section 10 has been laid on the inclined plane 1 aiming at greening, a reinforcing member 7 with a proper height is inserted in the sheath section 10 to form a vegetation basic material holding section 3 having the proper height and parallel with a contour line of the inclined face 1 by the sheath section 10 and the reinforcing member 7, and a vegetation basic material 14 containing a surface soil seed bank is sprayed on the inclined face 1 of the upper side of the vegetation basic material holding section 3.
