PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method that can suppress unnecessary consumption of ink without reducing a life of a recording head because a scorched material deposited on a heater during an ejection operation of ink for recording of an image can be removed without affecting the quality of the image and can maintain forming of a stable high quality image without decreasing the recording speed. SOLUTION: The method is characterised in that, in the case where the number of times of ejection of ink counted by a counting means reaches a predetermined number, the printing is performed by mixing a scanning of printing by aging pulses to a scanning of printing by normal printing pulse signals by a rate of one for every N times of scannings during a predetermined number of times of succeeding scannings.
