PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker which enables the obtaining of the output as high as possible while preventing the mutual interference of magnetic fields between a plurality of work coils when the plurality of work coils are provided. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic induction heating type electric rice cooker with more than three sets of the plurality of work coils, a work coil drive control means which drives and controls drive the plurality of work coils individually is provided so as to prevent the work coils adjacent to each other from being driven simultaneously out of the plurality of the coils.
