PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health data collector that produces a sound audible to a user and resists water spilled. SOLUTION: The health data collector has a reporting section 3 to report to the user 6, an operating section 9 to be operated by the user 6, and a speaker 7 as the reporting section 3. The speaker 7 prevents sounds having opposite phases released in the front and the rear of the speaker 7 from drowning out each other in the surrounding of the speaker 7 by providing in the interior of a casing 8, providing a sound outlet 11 transmitting a sound in the wall 10 of the casing 8 in front of and near to the user 6, and providing a sound channel 12 cutting off the front from the rear of the speaker 7 and connecting the front of the speaker 7 and the sound outlet 11. The sound channel 12, namely the distance to the speaker 7 prevents water from reaching the speaker 7 even if the water spilled enters from the sound outlet 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
