<p>The invention relates to a date and day indicator mechanism which is intended for a timepiece movement, the dial (10) thereof being pierced with an aperture (15). The inventive mechanism comprises: a date indicator (17) bearing the series of dates from 1 to 31, the aperture being dimensioned such as to reveal seven dates opposite the seven days of the week, the days of the week being provided on the dial; first means for moving the date indicator by seven days every Sunday around midnight; a date corrector (34) bearing the series of dates from 1 to 6, which is disposed such that it can partially cover the date indicator; and second means for moving the date corrector sufficiently to mask incorrect dates automatically at the end of months with fewer than 31 days and to replace same with the dates borne by the corrector.</p> |
