This invention relates to a new family of secreted proteins, termed the SECFAM3 family, its family members including the novel human proteins INSP12 3, INSP124 and INSP125, herein identified as secreted proteins containing a von Willebrand Factor type C (vWFC) domain, and to the use of these proteins and nucleic acid sequences from the encoding genes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disease. |
