<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary operation type one-way clutch in which weights and rolling elements are smoothly operated. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotary operation type one-way clutches (1, 30 and 80) comprising an outer ring (3) having an inner circumferential cylindrical surface (3a), an inner ring (2) having cam surfaces (11 and 47), rolling elements (7 and 37) to transmit the torque between the outer and inner rings, urging springs (5 and 35) to urge the rolling elements, weights (8 and 38) to press the rolling elements in the engaging direction under the centrifugal force and against the urging force of the urging springs, and weight operating surfaces to guide the operation of the weights, the size of the weights (8 and 38) is set to be larger than the size of a cavity (20) surrounded by the weights (8 and 38), the rolling elements (7 and 37), and the weight operating surfaces (12, 40 and 52). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
