<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the installation structure of a horizontal handrail following a vertical handrail to connect the vertical handrail to a wall surface for use as assisting or caring facility mainly when an old person, a person in need of care, or the like walks indoors. <P>SOLUTION: In the structure of installing the horizontal handrail for care following the vertical handrail installed indoors, between a wall and the vertical handrail, a branch bracket is mounted in the desired height position of the vertical handrail, and one end part of the horizontal handrail is supported to a pipe socket of the bracket. The other end part of the horizontal handrail is supported to a pipe socket of a wall mounting bracket fixed to the wall surface.
