PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive waterproof battery case excellent in mass productivity with a simple structure, and facilitating the replacement work of a battery or the like. SOLUTION: In this battery case for housing a commercially available battery, a rubber packing is arranged in the connection part of a first case and a second case separately formed, and both the case are connected in a sealed state by a connecting means through the packing, whereby the penetration of water or moisture into the battery case can be prevented. The first case and the second case have screw holes bored in positions opposed when both the cases are connected, so that both the cases can be connected by screwing the screw holes.
