PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which prevents an overflow of ink from an ink tank to the device inside at the time of replenishing the ink. SOLUTION: The ink-jet printer has the ink tank for storing the ink replenished from the outside to supply the same to a recording head, and a waste ink tank for storing ink to be discarded. The ink-jet printer is equipped with an overflow mechanism which is disposed from a predetermined position of the ink tank to the waste ink tank to be a channel of the ink.
