PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp improved in heat-resistant temperature by sufficiently preventing oxidization of metal foil and a lead rod, and having a long use life at high temperature. SOLUTION: This foil-sealed lamp comprises: a lamp vessel having a sealing part with the metal foil formed of molybdenum embedded and formed of a translucent material; a light emitting mechanism part connected to one end of the metal foil; and the lead rod connected to the other end of the metal foil and extending outward. The foil-sealed lamp is characterized by that a void formed in the circumference of the lead rod in the sealing part is filled with a sealing agent formed of rubidium oxide or cesium oxide; and glass containing boron oxide and bismuth oxide as main constituents is attached to the outside end face of the sealing part so as to close the void.
