PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the effect by increasing the ultraviolet ray irradiation area and the air contact area in the simultaneous operation of the sterilization by the ultraviolet rays and the deodorization by irradiating the surface coated with a deodorant with the ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: A vertical, horizontal or slant partition 7 is installed in an ultraviolet ray irradiation sterilization chamber 6 to increase the contact area with the air and the wall surface of the chamber is coated with a photocatalytic deodorant 11 and irradiated with the ultraviolet rays to diversify the stream 12 of the air.
