PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure that is free from the uncertainty of flashing caused by opening holes used for fixing means like screws of otherwise damaging it, and can simply install the upper roof on the lower roof, thus permitting efficient work execution. SOLUTION: In a roof structure in which the upper roof 13 is placed on the lower roof 1 via an installation member 7, the lower roof 1 has a muntin 1a provided with a seam joint 1b protruding laterally, the installation member 7 can fit with the muntin 1a, and consists of an upper surface 7a and opposing side faces 7b with internally protruding engagement part 7c. A support member 8, which has opposing hungers 8c that leave a space S for lifting from the upper surface 7a of the installation member 7, is placed on the lower roof 1. The installation member 7 is lifted from above the hunger 8c by means of a screw means 9, the engagement part 7c of the installation member 7 is engaged with the seam joint 1b of the muntin 1a from below, and the upper roof 13 is constructed on the support member 8 fixed to the lower roof 1 via this installation member 7.
