摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the molten iron temperature, component of [Si], [S], etc., the molten iron quality, the production quantity from a blast furnace and to reduce energy cost, such as the reduction of consumption unit of fuel, by continuously measuring the temperature of the molten iron tapped from a molten iron tapping hole and finely performing the temperature control. SOLUTION: The measuring method for molten iron temperature at the molten iron tapping hole measures the temperature°C and a heat flow density Kcal/m<SP>2</SP>×h at the molten iron tapping time with a heat flow sensor embedded in a refractory of the molten iron tapping hole in a blast furnace. The molten iron temperature is calculated from the formula, (molten iron temperature)°C= (heat flow sensor-temperature)°C+(heat flow density, Kcal/m<SP>2</SP>.h)×(molten iron tapping time factor). The molten iron tapping time factor is calculated from the formula, (molten iron tapping time factor)=1×10<SP>-9</SP>×t<SP>4</SP>+7×10<SP>-7</SP>×t<SP>3</SP>-1×10<SP>-4</SP>×t<SP>2</SP>+0.0099t+0.675 (wherein, t is the molten iron tapping time).
