PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nail enamel composition having sufficient spreadability and plasticity and high safety. SOLUTION: This nail enamel composition contains a diacetyl monoacyl glycerol compound in a nail enamel composition containing a film-forming component, a plasticizer and a solvent. The glycerol compound is one or more compounds selected from glycerol diacetomonocaprylate, glycerol diacetomonocaprate, glycerol diacetomonolaurate and glycerol diacetomonooleate.
