Disclosed is the use of interferon beta in the manufacture of a medicament for treating breast carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma or colon carcinoma. In one example, the pehylated interferon beta 1a and a mitotic such as paclitaxel are used in the manufacture of a combined preparation for concurrently or sequentially treating breast carcinoma.
