<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation ceiling preventing sound propagation to not only the upward part but also the side part as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The sound insulation ceiling can be appropriately fitted into a square form member 3 in a latticed support frame 2 hung down from a ceiling slab by hanging rods 1. The bottom wall 5 is made of a perforated plate. A sound absorbing material 8 is laid in a square receive pan 7 having outward fixing pieces 6 fixable to the upper face of the support frame 2 at the peripheral edge. An inverted plate shaped square sound insulating reflection cover 10 formed of the side wall surrounding the whole periphery of the sound absorbing material 8 and the upper face plate 9 separating from the upper face of the sound absorbing plate 8 is put on the the receiving pan 7 to form a sound insulation plate 4 put on the receiving pan 7.
