<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat of which the structure is simple, and in addition, which can sufficiently protect a child. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag 20 is respectively provided on the internal side surfaces of the upper parts of right and left side guards 11, and two cushions 22 and 24 on the top and the bottom are provided on the external side surfaces of respective side guards 11. The airbags 20 and spaces in respective cushions 22 and 24 are individually communicated through communication ports 26 and 28. At the communication ports 26 and 28, check valves 30 and 32 which allow a gas to circulate from the cushions 22 and 24 into the airbags 20 and prevent the gas from circulating in the opposite direction are provided. Even when a high load is applied to the lower side cushion 24 only, the gas in the cushion 24 surely flows into the airbag 20 without releasing the gas to the cushion 22, and the airbags 20 quickly expand in vicinities of the temples of the child. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
