<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which is capable of easily specifying which part of the controller has failed in the event of an error and which does not require many storage areas. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller, which controls speeds in such a way as to match a speed feedback signal with a speed command, comprises a motor operation simulating part which simulates motor operation at the input of a drive current and outputs a simulated motor speed; a motor speed diagnosing part which determines whether or not the motor speed input thereto indicates a normal state; a simulated motor speed diagnosing part which determines whether or not the simulated motor speed input thereto indicates a normal state; and a feedback signal switching part which outputs either the motor speed or the simulated motor speed input thereto as a speed feedback signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
