AUTHENTICATION METHOD, AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, AUTHENTICATION PROVISIONING TERMINAL, USER TERMINAL, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the need for realizing quick and smooth authentication for both a manager and a user.

SOLUTION: A user terminal 2 accesses an authentication provisioning terminal 1 and requests acquisition of data. Upon receiving a request from the user terminal 2, the authentication provisioning terminal 1 generates data for creating a first authentication code based on the original data transmitted from the user terminal 2 and transmits it to the user terminal 2. Upon receiving the data for creating a first authentication code, the user terminal 2 creates an authentication code based on the received data and prestored data for creating a second authentication code and writes the authentication code thus created in a portable memory 4. An authentication execution terminal 3 executes authentication by reading out the authentication code from the portable memory 4.
